OT hybrids lilies are super hybrids obtained by crossing oriental and trumpet lilies and keeping the best of both.  They are similar to orientals but have larger flowers, improved vase life, a shorter growing season and improved disease resistance.  ‘Black Beauty’ is an oriental hybrid lily that is a cross between L. henryi and L. speciosum. It typically grows on rigid stems to 4-7’ tall. Showy, fragrant, dark raspberry flowers (to 3”) have distinctive reflexed sepals with thin white edges, protruding anthers and small green centers. This is a floriferous mid-summer bloomer (20-50 blooms per mature plant). Good fresh cut flower.
