Japanese Maple. Small upright tree. Brick-red leaves take an interesting turn in Summer fading to a bronze-green leaving red venation and edges or variations of these colors. Grows to 6 m high and wide.

 This upright, open growing, small tree makes an excellent specimen in the garden. The deeply cut, 7-lobed leaves are primarily brick-red with dark green edges. The veins are also a different color, varying from light green to almost black. The colors will vary somewhat, depending on exposure to sun or shade, but it is always unique and always beautiful!

A spreading deciduous tree with brick-red leaves in spring. Leaves turn bronze-red in summer and are orange to red in fall. The name means "overhanging mountain" in Japanese. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil


Kasagi yama has different tones of red in each leaf each leaf. The primary color is a unique dark red with shadows of green. Veins are dark and visible. Excellent but very rare Japanese maple.
